Revamped the mission, vision and engagement model to better serve our users and partners. Scaled & organized the teams around functions (Data Science, Product Analytics, Program Management), products (Retail - User/Merchant/Data, Travel - Flights/Hotels/Destinations) and operating models (embedded and project-based). Attracted world class analysts and leaders, growing team from 8 to 65 FTEs. Led extended (dotted line) teams in Data Engineering and Search Data Science. Scaled Demand Planning and implemented Sales & Operations Planning for Google’s Global Infrastructure. Own the demand forecasts and set the capacity targets that drive all server, networking and machine learning growth for Google’s datacenters worldwide. Built the function to a high performing team of teams, with employee engagement & manager feedback scores of >90%, well above company averages.

Line management responsibility for the “single source of truth” driving Google’s supply planning, manufacturing planning and procurement. Forecast all material and deliveries required to support Google’s global demand for growth in compute and storage capacity, conduct risk assessments, track health of spend vs. budget; identify, escalate and resolve key operational risks across functions within Google.

Led cross functional team to define Google’s E2E material planning process (Supply Plan, Demand Plan, Supply-Demand Matching & Inventory Management). Scoped, designed, implemented and manage Google’s demand planning process. Brought forecasting process under control, achieved significant reductions in bias and percent error across key component categories, extended the forecast horizon and smoothed the demand signal.

Identified, communicated and resolved key issues and dependencies related to one of the largest supply chain transformations in history:*Prepared bi-monthly updates to the company's CEO and executive committee on progress made in procurement initiatives (Tens of $B/y spend in scope).*Developed and tracked performance metrics, developed strategy, scoped/lead special projects as required, designed and held workshops as required.*Developed and managed funnel of high impact projects through implementation.
