As a skateboard instructor my responsibility is to conduct an 8 week course on the basics of skateboarding to elementary school students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. In my 8 week course, I will teach the origin and history of skateboarding, the styles and fashions that effected skateboarding throughout the 60’s-late 90’s, how to assemble a complete skateboard, the proper stand/push technique (for beginners), as well as intermediate and advanced techniques for the more experienced skaters.
