My experience in facilities management has taught me to developed my skill of analyzing -- and then developing and implementing high standards in order to reach high quality service and property wow factor.I Believe a Strong Facilities Director must have Hands on knowledge and expertise of all building systems from HVAC to Plumbing, PLC Controls, Electrical, Life Safety, Building Design, lighting controls plumbing. Most people don’t realize that comprehensive and pro-active facilities management is really all about customer service. On a daily basis, I consider how to best serve our Guests – our colleagues, leaders, and Vendors – by providing efficient yet effective management of all the multiple systems required to keep a large Casino running. To accomplish this, I strive to be a leader who motivates my team to do their best work while seeking ways in implement continual process improvements.During my time as a Facilities Director and Security Manager, I not only ran an effective team, I also consistently met and exceeded the strict requirements for the largest Casino in Colorado. On any given day, my team of 22 direct reports handled every aspect of the largest Casino in Colorado , from snow removal to Slot moves and Hotel rooms requests. I consistently volunteered to tasks and committees beyond my standard duties, such as gaining my BOMA and HVAC Certification. My greatest strength lies in building, leading, and mentoring teams. I can motivate and inspire a very diverse group of associates.As I continue to expand my career, I plan to continue building on my core principles of customer service, Facilities management, procedural improvements, and upholding core regulations to make sure my facilities are not just well maintained, but run by a solid team of individuals who all work together for our common goal.
