Responsible for troubleshooting and major overhauls on Critical 1 machinery at Bulwer Island Refinery. Major overhauls completed include 201J (MAN Turbo multistage centrifugal air compressor), 202J (MAN Turbo wet gas compressor) and 1601/2JA (Howden Thomassen reciprocating gas compressor). Unplanned overhaul of 1503J (Nuovo Pignone multistage centrifugal barrel compressor) after liquid ingress into the machine.

Bulwer Island Refinery

Responsible for delivering FEED, Detailed Engineering and Construction of the Alky Acid Risk Reduction Project (AARRP) ($55m AUD) and Waste Water Compliance Phase 3 ($10.5m AUD). AARRP consisted of a modularised process unit and revamp of an HF Alkylation Unit. Project team consisted of 6 direct reports and approximately 60 contractors across multiple locations. I also co-ordinated set up and execution of the Large Project Engineering Services Contract at Bulwer.
