Through my fellowship, I executed Field of Hope's agriculture development programs in Uganda, with focuses on agriculture education, smallholder farm advancement, and leadership growth. Meanwhile:-utilizing interpersonal skills to quickly build relational equity with local women's groups-displaying cross-cultural aptitude by learning local language and communicating with Ugandan natives -demonstrating growth mindset when acquiring knowledge on a foreign production and agriculture system-tasked with growing faith aspect of FOH's internal programs and extension activities

I conducted research related to the production and persistence of legume based pastures for rain fed areas of New Zealand, under the supervision of Dr. Moot, Professor in Plant Science at Lincoln University. The research will be used to assist sheep production systems for farmers in low rainfall areas. Throughout my time here, I was able to attend the FarmSmart Beef and Lamb Conference; allowing for discussion with industry leaders on the future of the farming and food industries. My time in NZ heightened my understanding of agronomy as it related to animal production systems and I plan to utilize this experience to improve communication with producers about their farm efficiency.
