A SaaS-based social media planning and scheduling app - I join this rapidly growing startup for an interim period to provide Financial and Operational leadership.

Originally an Advisor to the company beginning in 2017, I briefly joined in an interim capacity in 2019 to guide the company through product strategy, pricing, contracting, business development and setting up the overall structure and reporting cadence of the finance department.

Concepted, structured and launched MobilityX – a FinTech focused innovation lab within Daimler Financial Services. The Lab focused on introducing external innovation into DFS’ corporate business units in search of emerging FinTech that would support the mobility ecosystem of the future.

As an Austin-based startup in the heart of downtown, PetRelocation earned placement on the Inc 5000 from 2009-‘14, Inner City 100 in both 2013 and ’14, and was a recipient of an Oracle Marketing Cloud Markie in 2014. I joined this trailblazing startup in 2013 as the lead Finance Executive focused on structuring a Finance and Accounting department that could manage the burgeoning transaction volume that came with fast-paced growth. In addition, I partnered with the CEO to bring a metrics-based focus to the company’s sales operations and develop the capital dexterity necessary to support a highly seasonal growth-business.

With responsibilities that included financial and operational oversight, I provided the agency with business management and strategic leadership. This included direct oversight of Finance, Accounting, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources, and management oversight of the Agency’s Technology group and Digital Media group.

As one of the Founders of the University of Texas Film Initiative, I was part of a team that lead the creation and launch of a for-profit University-owned film company. With RKO I led and managed joint-venture and partnership arrangements with notable film distribution and financing companies. Over the course of two years, I arranged development funds for several film properties as well as financing for one feature film (SHADE) and one Broadway play (NEVER GONNA DANCE).

While at Emigrant Capital I brought private investments through our full investment lifecycle which included sourcing, analyzing, pricing, presenting to the Investment Committee and drafting SEC filings.

I joined Credit Suisse as a third-year analyst in their investment banking analyst program.

At Prudential I was a first and second-year analyst in their investment banking analyst program.

Provided business valuations for privately held companies.
