CurrentProviding long-term vision, strategic planning, and implementation of innovative programs to continually improve interceptor system performanceProviding leadership and oversight of all interceptor and reliability operations, ensuring protection of public health, safety, and good relations with the communityManaging interceptor systems, facilities, and equipment Providing leadership in the management of and communication to all interceptor operation employees (59 employees)Planning and implementing innovative programs to continually improve safety, morale, well being, training and professional development for all interceptor operation employeesMonitoring system compliance with all applicable permits and regulationsManages interceptor system for system optimization and physical integrity of interceptor facilities/equipment Facilitates interceptor division’s Quality Steering Team (QST) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Communicates regularly with Interceptor Superintendent South Shore, Reliability Supervisor, and Chief of Interceptor Operations South Shore informally, one-on-one, and in meetingsManages hydraulic model for operational accuracy and system optimizationManages and coordinates projects for major construction, interceptor improvements and optimization, or special District projectsManages performance of interceptor employees through leadership in all employees programs/issues and oversight of Interceptor Superintendent’s management of employeesCollaborates regularly with other departments and divisions to produce better products, services, and/or efficiencyPrepares interceptor division’s annual budget ($6,000,000 +)
