At first, my role was implementing and replicating algorithms including Monte Carlo inspired optimization algorithms. However, after some experience, I began to work with a master’s student to plan and execute a paper. We developed a plan to use machine learning to manage power budgets with minimal performance degeneration. Throughout this work, my lab partner and I had to work closely together and manage our workload to ensure that we were delivering what we needed to.

My work at Blackbaud as a Software Engineering Intern gave me a strong, real-world experience. I worked on one of their scrum teams and was responsible for building out public API endpoints for their financial software and adding functionality to their SAAS site based on client feedback.
