In total Sam has over 38 years’ experience in consulting engineering and has spent the last 29 of those years at AECOM and its legacy companies. As trusted advisors AECOM provide consultancy services across the construction industry. Sam’s priority through creativity, experience and collaboration is to deliver industry leading design and specialist consultancy services on building projects of all scales and levels of complexity. As a Director at AECOM Sam is responsible for the management, co-ordination and delivery of all Structural Engineering and Building Services (MEP) Engineering projects undertaken in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scotland. This includes oversight of design quality and compliance together with responsibility for financial performance, risk management, business growth, Client liaison and overall governance.Combined with managerial duties within the Company, Sam is actively involved in ongoing projects, combining his commercial, managerial and operational experience with his ability as an experienced design engineer.
