Additionally, I was selected for a three month bubble assignment as a Thermal Systems design engineer for the GEnx engine Mission Based team utilizing fastworks methods to optimize combustor liner cooling hole design and complete trade studies on alternate dome/deflector cooling architectures in an effort to improve combustor life.Rotation 2: Performance engineer for the Advanced Combat Engine where I owned the NPSS performance model for the combustor module, developed pre-test predictions for a core demo test, monitored test from the control room, and communicated progress and results to the customer.Rotation 3: Helped find and create digital solutions as part of the Hidden Factories pillar of the Digital League.
