I have many different forms of work experience across a multitude of fields that has allowed me to have a unique and widespread perspective in the workplace. This included work in retail and sales, a medical facility, an elementary/middle school, and a high end hospitality agency through a Marriott hotel. I currently work as a CSR at a 3PL company known as Evans Distribution Systems. Additionally, my education at ASU is sharpening my skills. It is allowing me opportunities for growth, teaching me more about the different avenues of communication and their importance, and providing me with real world experience through simulations and an on-site internship. Through my internship I was able to achieve a big goal of mine when assisting with the formation and launching of a communication plan for the church. This plan involved different priority levels for certain events, what the events would require and when, and a specific week-by-week layout of everything required of the staff up to 3 months prior to the day of the event. I assisted with a meeting where this plan was laid out to the pastoral staff before presenting it to the entirety of the staff a couple weeks later. This ensured specific jobs would be completed and events would be erected and executed as intended and on time. I am excited to gain more experience in the communication field and complete my education.
