Sam is an enthusiastic and hard-working student and intern interested in the progression of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Religious Studies at the University of North Florida.As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at R.S.&H. Sam has been exposed to HVAC design, 3D modeling, finite element analysis, cost analysis, launch vehicle study and all stages of mechanical system design.As a Technical Support Intern at Isel Inc. Sam was trained to write technical reports, conduct laboratory experiments, assist in international order shipping, and advise customers with technical questions.Through the National Society of Black Engineers Sam has extended STEM to the Jacksonville youth.With the UNF SAME chapter Sam designed and built an ultralight glider for the 2012 Miami Redbull Flugtag Competition.
