Circa Morris-Nunn Chua Architects was formed in Hobart, Tasmania in 2010 as an evolution of Morris-Nunn + Associates, the most awarded architects in Tasmanian history.​While building on the strong design ethic of MN+A, this evolution reflects a subtle change in the direction of the practice to one of an even more inclusive, studio based design approach that draws from a wide range of experience, values and expertise and allows a creative inventiveness unique to our office.​Circa Architects believes that dialogue and collaboration both inside and outside the studio are core to the success of our projects. This allows each new design to be examined from first principles. Best described as bespoke, projects are not formula driven but rather uniquely crafted for the particular place, drawing from its character, associations and memories.​A fundamental aim of Circa’s work (and that of MNA previously over the years) is to explore ways in which architecture can be more enlightened and socially humane. The resulting architecture has received considerable national and international recognition, producing tangible economic and cultural benefits not only to the immediate users, but also in the wider public realm, and thus transforming the way the community, in which the buildings form a part, perceives itself to be. Emerging Architects + Graduates Network aims to create a design community for graduates and emerging architects for mutual support and to foster a culture of architecture.Within this role, I am concerned with bridging the gap between SONA and senior Australian Institute of Architects members, providing a platform for graduates to ‘merge’ into the profession. I am involved with organizing social events, cross discipline workshops and a general promotion of cross-pollination within design in Tasmania.

Our practice undertakes a wide range of projects including corporate, retail, hospitality, educational, tourism, industrial and residential. IDW Architecture + Interiors is a creative studio with the capacity, and experience, to design and manage your project from overall conceptual design through to the resolution of the smallest detail.The key roles of this position are construction documentation of projects, design documentation, establishment of site conditions and creating documentation of existing features, attending client meetings, and contract administration.

Gaetano Palmese Architects is a small practice that delivers professional architectural design services with the goal of seeking the best possible solution to a clients project requirements – a solution that seeks firstly to understand the project vision and then thoughtfully devise an environmentally responsible and appropriate strategy to fulfill that vision.The key roles of this position are construction documentation of projects, design documentation, establishment of site conditions and creating documentation of existing features, attending client meetings, and some assistance with contract administration.

Responsibilities included the generation of graphics for the Making Architecture Conference in Perth (2014), research into early 20th century Tasmanian Architecture, cataloging data in relation to important landmarks of Tasmanian Architecture and assistance in creation of the Regional Urban Studies Laboratory website among other things.

I was a demonstrator for the Design Communication 1 unit in the Bachelor of Environmental Design at UTAS.
