It’s not impossible, it can be done, I just need to find out how. As a kid, I was always curious about machines. What exactly is inside this machine? Be it a cassette player, FM Radio, CD Player, Car Engine, or Plane Engine. Basically, things that solve problems. Most of the time, a screwdriver and knife would be enough to find out what’s happening there. That’s where I learned stuff about debugging and how it could have been better.These days, I am still holding the screwdriver but a metaphoric one. I listen to customer stories who bring them in a box, and I return to them a carved product that they wished for. My approach remains the same and that is to solve a particular problem with available tools and resources. The most important resource is the people that I work with, and I believe that a motivated team can deliver the best. I am good at listening to people I work with and giving them ideas to achieve their goals efficiently. Throughout my career I have been in multiple positions be it being a vendor for an Enterprise Level Credit Card Management System to Selling an Enterprise Level Storage Management System and in between, I have been directly technically involved in Coding, Testing, Design and Management of the projects in various roles. I started my career as an ASP Developer at Algorithm Consulting and moved along to different roles of Managing Systems at HBL and QA/Testing Engineer at Folio3. Later, I joined Tarmin as a Software Engineer and climbed to the lead role. Since I was more of a people person, I was promoted to Program Manager where I was still in touch with technical aspects of the projects. In this role, I worked with large enterprise clients in the UK, USA, South Africa, and the Middle East. I was then promoted to Director of Product Engineering where I am leading a team of Engineers spread across the globe to deliver magical products. One of my personality attributes is a good level of tolerance; I don’t give up easily and I share the same vibe with the people that I work with.
