Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to learn how things worked. I would build and apart computers, printers, you name it! As I grew older, I noticed how much data was a part of our lives and I wanted to be surrounded by it. I wanted to know how a simple google search worked or how data communicated from 1 host to another. This lead me into my career in networking! it was so exciting to learn new hardware and to troubleshoot problems that others could not fix. It came me a sense of pride and accomplishment that I could help a business succeed in that way. As most of us IT nerds are, we love to explore even outside of work and that's when it hit me. I want to build again! I started watching tutorials on how web sites worked and how to design an app to fit your exact need. It hit me like a ton of bricks at the moment that I knew I was in the right field just not the right role. From then on, I have been sharpening my skill set java script and python to increase my marketability in the world of IT. I now use python scripts on a day to day basis and use Linux to manage files and troubleshoot complex issues. I am able to learn new programming languages quickly and learn how I can best use techniques in day to day. Each day, I continue to push myself to keep learning new frameworks such as Bootstrap, SQL, Node.JS and learning the world of GIT. I want to feel that accomplishment in my career and I will always have that fire inside to keep pushing and always to learn.
