Lonsec Research is an Investment Research House focused on rating a broad range of investment products (managed funds, ETFs, LICs, SMAs and platforms), with the organisation's key clients being fund managers and financial advisors. My current position as a senior member of the investment team is multi-faceted, with the principal responsibility being to lead a sub-team of investment analysts researching the Alternatives and Global Property Securities sectors. The sectors include a heterogenous collection of hedge funds (including, managed futures; systematic risk premia; macro; fund of hedge funds; market neutral; currency; volatility; directional equity long/short; derivatives focused equity income; and unconstrained bond), as well as private equity and global property strategies. I am also currently one of Lonsec’s key senior analyst covering Australian and global equity strategies. I also have significant experience covering fixed interest, multi-asset strategies, ESG/sustainable funds, as well as direct property and infrastructure funds. My key career achievements at Lonsec include being promoted to Senior Investment Analyst in 2011 and being appointed as Lonsec’s lead investment analyst for the Alternatives (2015-present), Global Property Securities (2010-present), Australian Property Securities (2010-2015), Hybrid Property Securities (2007-2015) sectors.

Pitney Bowes MapInfo’s Strategy and Analytics team was a consulting team that was led by Mr Tony Dimasi and prepared written economic research reports for property developers, shopping centre owners/managers and retailers. The key aspects of this role included detailed econometric modelling, report writing, client meetings and preparing presentations to clients, site inspections of both new and existing assets, demographic analysis and forecasting projected sales, rents and market shares of new developments.

The UBS International Prime Brokerage (IPB) team is responsible for processing trades made by global hedge funds. In this role, I worked in a variety of areas including cash payments, foreign exchange settlements, equity derivatives, cash management and client billing.
