Management of risk and positive outcomes for businesses and clients on a large and small scale is what I am passionate about. M&A is a great space to be in and integration is as key as the DD in achieving the best outcomes. I have worked mainly within major networks and national firms but also a smaller IFA DA company. My roles have involved management of risk teams and associated activities at both firm and adviser level. I have previously been involved in project work looking at adviser business quality and servicing. This included managing a project team and liaising directly with board and directors. I’ve also managed a team of competency assessors, managing high risk cases, audit work internally and with AR firms. I have sat on leadership team committees which manage risk of firms and advisers. I have also managed the day to day compliance function as a whole in a smaller firm (20 advisers) who were directly authorised, as well as evaluating and undertaking DD in firms within an acquisition proposition with Succession.
