Working at GTA has enabled me to develop a wide range of skills as detailed in further detail:I have had experience in traffic and parking impact analysis for a range of developments throughout Melbourne including involvement in traffic generation, distribution and assignment, intersection analysis, parking demands, car parking layout analysis and survey design. I also specialise in ABS data analysis to guide project development on the basis of anticipated car parking demands and travel mode splits.I also have gained a wealth of experience in the preparation, organisation, execution, management and analysis of traffic and parking data collection including intersection and turning movement counts, time travel surveys, pedestrian surveys, questionnaire surveys, and major parking utilisation surveys for projects such as the Box Hill Activity Centre Car Parking Study.This data collection process, as detailed above, has enabled me to gain a multitude of experience in the preparation of traffic impact assessments, evidence preparation (VCAT), and response to information requests for a variety of land uses including mixed use developments, shopping centre redevelopment projects, bulky goods retail, residential subdivisions, medium and high density residential, commercial buildings, community facilities, gymnasiums, aquatic centres, industrial and warehouse uses, while also assisting with the preparation of traffic management plans.I am also a VicRoads accredited Road Safety Auditor, and regularly undertake a range of Road Safety Audits, from Feasibility Stage, Preliminary and Detailed Design Stage to Pre-opening and Existing road audits.

During my 3 month secondment to Maroondah City Council in the position of ‘Traffic Engineer’ my role involved a range of traffic/transport responsibilities including the assessment of Planning Permit referrals with respect to the Maroondah Planning Scheme and other relevant standards, and undertaking traffic and parking investigations and associated reports for other Council departments. A key portion of the role involved the undertaking of assessments of various traffic and parking matters raised by the local residents, and where required, providing solutions.The role also involved the assessment and approval of Traffic Management Plans for various events within the municipality.
