Scrum MasterGenomics England Sep 2019 - Jan 2022Scrum Master at Genomics England, working as the scrum master for clinical systems. I was recruited at Genomics England to work as a scrum master to facilitate the launch of a clinical system that enables clinicians to order whole genome sequencing tests, and track the progress of the extracted DNA till it reaches a genome sequencer. And assist on in the reporting of the findings from the sequenced genome. This system went live in November 2021, the first of its kind in the UK.Post the implementation of the this system, my focus switched to providing iterative enhancements to the above system, and migrating cloud services to a new provider. -

Working with product owners to organize and prioritize product backlogs. Generating Sprint Boards and Kanban Boards.I assisted with communication of the progress of projects to senior management.This project involved the front to back renovation of financing data, and the decommission of the original legacy system. Enabling more accurate attribution and reporting of P&L by Financial Controllers. It did so by transforming source data, performing hedging currency calculations on the data and exposing it to financial controllers in a strategic reporting application. In addition, to generating and publishing associated journals to the firm's General Ledger System.The project also included the decommissioning of the original legacy system.This renovation enabled more accurate attribution and reporting of P&L by Financial Controllers. It also enabled controllers to sign off their data 5 hours earlier than had been in the case, prior to this renovation.
