-Developed and ran a school Maker Workshop series utilizing recycled materials and featuring hands-on design, STEAM, and building stations implemented at a local elementary school between 2017-2020. -Developed a school maker workshop model and training kit to teach school PTA programs to host and run their own maker workshop series. -Worked with local PTA programs to write grants to fund the Maker Education Workshop Series with schools.-Developed and hosted local district wide trainings on implementing hands-on STEAM, maker education and design thinking activities into the classroom at the k-3rd, 4-6th and 7-12th grade levels.

- Trained UC Davis undergraduate students on basics of design thinking, maker education, and classroom management to prepare them for weekly outreach sessions with underrepresented students in underserved Sacramento and Yolo county area schools.-Developed maker and design thinking curriculum for underrepresented and underserved students in out-of-school and in school settings.-Worked on grant writing and large scale grant data reporting.

-Developed and planed programs to bring together individuals and families living with Type 1 Diabetes.-Established and oversaw a funding portfolio including grants, corporate sponsorships, and donations.-Created strategic planning initiatives for program growth and conduct data analysis on metrics of program success.

-MakeHer workshops at the Sunnyvale Library: Conducted up-cycling design thinking workshops for under-served girls between the ages of 8-13.-ALT School Palo Alto: Conducted a Maker Workshop series centered on using recycled and reclaimed materials in design thinking.-New Museum of Los Gatos: Conducted a Maker Workshop series centered on using recycled and reclaimed materials in design thinking. -Camp EDMO: Developed two STEAM/Maker summer camp curriculums utilizing recycled and reclaimed materials.

Worked internally to create and serve as first Director of Education and Empowerment for the YWCA of Silicon Valley. Programs included: TechGYRLS, Child Care, Early Childhood Education, and the Women and Girls Empowerment Conference. Increased and diversified the department wide funding portfolio three fold in 10 months. Created and Launched Maker Education and STEAM curriculum for the TechGYRLS and Early Childhood Education programs. Developed and fostered community partnerships with Maker Education, The Tech Museum, SJSU Jay Pinson STEM Lab and Technovation.

As the TechGYRLS Program Coordinator I develop community partnerships, cultivated volunteers, and pursued funding in order to increase the impact of TechGYRLS in the Silicon Valley. The TechGYRLS® program provides STEAM educational opportunities to 8-14 year old girls in an all-girl environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and opening up to new learning opportunities. I provide outreach, training, and education to the 200+ self help groups in Champaign County on topics that range from group facilitation to advocacy and community awareness. Additionally, I help people interested in creating new self-help groups get started and engage community organizations in the creation of new self-help groups based on needs in the community!

As President of the Junior League of Champaign Urbana I served in the role of Chief Executive Officer, presiding over all meetings of the general membership and of the Board of Directors. I oversaw the strategic and planning and day-to-day operations of JLCU.

I conduct statistical research on subsidized childcare for the Department of Human and Community Development.
