I am a Level 8 arborist with experience as a business manager, consulting/council arborist that works as Enviro Trees Southern States Regional Manager. Before this roll I worked as the City of Sydney's Tree Management Coordinator and as a business development/client management at Civica ArborSafe. This puts me in a unique situation of having worked in all forms of arboriculture and in business development. I have comprehensive arboricultural experience ranging from business development/client management for a global firm providing arboricultural software and services, arboricultural development-oriented and risk consulting, council-based roles, and practical arboriculture. I have Level 8 arboriculture qualifications along with detailed experience of arboricultural report writing, contract negotiation, sales and budgeting for large sites, client management and relations, and outstanding knowledge of open space related policy and excellent organisational and communication skills. As a recent business development/client management specialist at Civica ArborSafe, I am accustomed to, and thrive in results-driven and high-pressure environments, and have shown I deliver excellent results. These results would not have been possible without a strong grasp of sales strategies, contract negotiation, budgets and communication. My portfolio of clients included multiple universities, cemeteries, hundreds of DoE Schools and Coffs Harbour City Council to name a few. I helped manage tens of thousands of trees that require a full site inspection every year and the many issues that arise throughout the course of the year. I think my client management played a big part in all of my existing clients continuing to use our services. This, along with the previous roles, gives me a superior understanding of client management, contract negation/budgeting for large open spaces, arboricultural risk management and report writing as well as impressive knowledge of tree species and related issues, plus relevant policies, overlays and Acts for councils, state and federal governments.
