I am an Agile evangelist with extensive experience coaching teams and implementing 46 different flavors of Agile. I am well known for developing and implementing strategic lean process improvement initiatives, establishing Agile strategies & introducing change to organisational procedures through Value Stream Mapping.I firmly believe that the heart of a successful team is understanding who your customer is, what they value and to deliver that quickly and iteratively. This means focusing on Value, Flow and Outcomes.I consider myself a player coach; meaning that I get stuck in, showing how it can be done from my own experiences whilst ensuring that there is a succession plan. As a Player Coach I have a proven track record of recruiting and developing agile teams to deliver creative high-quality software or products, on-time and within budget using Agile frameworks like SAFe. I have an extensive history of global, large-scale and complex IaaS, PaaS and SaaS programmes for the Telco, Financial, Public, Oil and Gas and Utilities industries. I have managed annual budgets of £2.5M - £110M in European and wider geographies; leading departments with multiple Scrum teams c. 25 to 250 people.I have great interpersonal communication, negotiation, analytical problem solving, and relationships building skills.Outside of work I am family man living in the countryside with my wife and 2 kids. I am also a Trustee for a first responder charity supporting our emergency services in the worst of weathers.
