-Co-ordinating and leading our key sports strategies across a range of sites, predominantly focussing on the UK but also on Europe & LATAM.-Producing a range of traffic and performance reports through operator backends and GA for our different sites and teams, providing insights and suggestions on what is/isn't working.-Negotiating CPA, Hybrid and Fixed Fee deals for our products to promote and highlighting commercial opportunities.- Establishing and improving relationships with a number of partners, using data and analysis to ensure both parties are getting the best performance possible from the Catena partnership.- Communicating with a range of teams to ensure that targets and KPI's are being met ahead of deadlines, products are being innovated and that strategies are being implemented.

Undertaking a one year marketing placement at Catena Media UK vastly enhanced my overall industry knowledge and enabled me to grow and develop a range of new skills. My main responsibilities included:. Communicating with a range of operators and clients on a daily basis.. Producing reports on a daily, weekly and monthly level in order to assist the team in making strategic decisions. This involved using platforms such as Google Analytics.. Assisting the PPC team in managing the many campaigns we had running on Google Ad words on a daily level. This included a number of responsibilities such as writing ad copy and helping to manage spend.

Here I was given a variety of different responsibilities such as managing the front of house service, designing pricing strategies for different items in the shop and ensuring customer satisfaction.• In managing the front of house service, I had to ensure my communication skills were clear and concise as I gave different employees a variety of roles, whilst also ensuring a range of customers with differing needs were well looked after.• Furthermore, designing pricing strategies for a range of products and choosing where to display them gave me the chance to develop a strong attention to detail as a skill. I believe this is something that is key in marketing.

• Working simultaneously as a waiter serving tables on the floor, and then the next minute on the bar, helped me develop my flexibility skills. I was able to work efficiently and comfortably in either role, wherever I was most needed. • This industry allowed me to gain knowledge and experience in how vital it is to be able to deal with a vast array of different people and customer needs, at any one time, in a fast paced environment.
