About Sam Ngai

I represent and advise clients on a full spectrum of of Family Law issues, including:> Children and Parenting matters, (eg. finding suitable parenting/custody arrangements, paternity disputes, and dealing with Family Violence and child abuse issues).> Resolution of financial issues (ie. property settlement, Consent Orders, spousal maintenance, Binding Financial Agreements, Family Court and Federal Circuit Court proceedings etc.). In particular, I have significant experience in property settlements involving complex commercial structures, high net worth clients and farming properties.> Child Support issues (eg. Binding Child Support Agreements, Child Support debts, paternity disputes etc.)> Applications for Divorce> Implementation of Family Court Orders (ie. Transfers of Land, change of corporate structures, and transfer of other significant assets).> Youth Court matters (Care and Protection orders, guardianship, and Investigation and Assessment orders).I have an excellent reputation in assisting clients to remain focused and helping them to achieve a swift and amicable outcome. Before Family Law, I developed experience working on commercial transactions and therefore take a strong commercial approach to Family Law financial matters. This is of great benefit in those situations where complex property and financial issues arise. While I appear most regularly at the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court and Youth Court, I also have a diverse litigation background which includes representing clients in the Supreme Court, District Court and Magistrates Court.
