Visual storytelling has been something I've grown up on and my passion stems from those days of watching classic black and whites with my dad and edgy cult films with my brothers. Even though I graduated with a degree in writing, I always tell people that creating videos is my form of storytelling. Some people love poetry, I love visually stunning stories about real people and I pride myself on my talent to see a vision and execute it. I am a jack of all trades when it comes to video production – writer; video editor and graphic designer – currently employed in Bristol, CT, as a Post-Production Editor for ESPN. Every day I work with Producers to create compelling videos about all kinds of sports. The videos I create range from short form to long form and they work within various areas of the ESPN platforms. Before ESPN, I worked in Harrisburg, PA, as a Commercial Producer for CBS 21 where I would write and edit videos together that advertise local businesses in the region. Shorthand commercials weren't the only thing I did though. I also created anything from web videos to 30 minute shows. Prior to my job in Harrisburg, I was a Promotions Producer for NBC News 3 in Las Vegas. Working in Las Vegas after graduating college was quite the experience. I created everything from creative commercials and promotions to topicals promoting the news station. I completed academic studies at York College of PA, majoring in Professional Writing, with a minor in Video Production and Film Studies – graduating Cum Laude. While at school, I worked for our IT Department as a Video Producer creating informational videos.Creating videos is something I'm truly passionate about. I love this industry and I would want nothing more than to contribute to it. I'd like to think that one day my work could inspire someone the way the films I loved growing up inspired me.
