Representing victims of elder abuse and neglect by assisting attorneys in preparation for depositions, medical chart and records ordering, tracking, analysis & summarization, records department employee training:• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements• Knowledge of medical terminology• Experience ordering, tracking, and reviewing for completeness: medical, SNF, RCFE, Home Health, Hospice, DPH, DSS and County Regional Center records.• Experience analyzing & summarizing charts & records, specializing in evaluating for possible med mal, neglect or abuse lawsuits• Training and supervising new employees in the records department• Deposition preparation: Identify & collect appropriate research preparation and exhibit documents for depositions• Review case history to focus prep toward salient points contributing to the success of the deposition• Review discovery responses and pull relevant documents• Review chart documents and pull pertinent portions• Cross-reference deposition testimony of previous witnesses• Examine discovery responses and medical charts for inconsistency, contradictions, omissions and falsification.• Proficient in Prolaw legal practice management software
