Prior to joining Mercer's Total Health Management practice, Sam was a Health and Benefits Consultant. In this role Sam partnered with employers, including Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, to design, implement, and manage their employee benefit programs. Key initiatives included ensuring employee benefit programs integrate with HR strategies and overall business objectives. Sam was previously a member of Mercer's Portfolio Benefits Alliance® team. The PBA® is a PE-industry vertical that provides both domestic and international solutions for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.Specialties: Health and Welfare program design, implementation, and management; Merger and Acquisition Health and Welfare due diligence; Private Equity focus on transactions including distressed debt, rollups, spin-offs, and stand-ups.
