I’m a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Neuroscience in the School of Arts and Sciences. I’m passionate about the study of neuropsychiatry and how to apply my understanding of neuroscience to combat neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, I am a student researcher at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in which I am aiding in the investigation of α-synuclein misfolding and its effect on Parkinson's Disease. I also hold the Social Chair within Penn’s chapter of the Brain Exercise Initiative where I organize general body meetings and speaker events with Penn faculty. In conjunction with BEI, I am a volunteer at Care Pavilion Nursing Center where I work directly with residents on reading and mathematics. With these positions, I aim to grow my experience in the medical, neurological, and psychological fields.
