Specialization in First Generation College Students-Met weekly with mentees to discuss their transition to college, school work, grades, social life, etc.-Mentored First Generation students through FAFSA process, professor meetings, professional etiquette, and other common unfamiliar tasks for First Generation students-Teach a remedial “College Success” class for students on Academic Probation-Planned and taught “Reading Strategies” workshop in First Year Experience classes and in Intellectual​ Development Convocation settings

-Directed and trained new and current Bears of Distinction (Admission Ambassadors) for their role on the Enrollment Management team-Worked closely with the Assistant Director of Campus Visits and Events to hire, implement training, and evaluate new and current Bears of Distinction-Gave tours to prospective undergraduate and graduate students/families, alumni, and Board of Trustees members-Served as a student speaker at various university admissions events-Spoke from a student perspective about student life, academics, community, campus atmosphere, and overall experience the undergraduate experience (specifically as a First Generation College Student)

-Plan weekly intergenerational programming for congregation-Supervise and lead committee for implementation of intergenerational programming-Work alongside pastor to recognize and minister to specific needs of young families and young adults in congregation, including online and video elements-Assist in programming for Youth group and Confirmation group

I served in a dual role as an intern and Sunday School teacher in a small, open/affirming UCC congregation in Hickory, NC. -Planned and taught weekly Sunday School lessons for ages 2-14-Lead Children’s Blessing each week during worship-Introduced and integrated “Pray-ground” into sanctuary as a place for children to participate during worship
