As a Placements Officer at Buckinghamshire Council for the past three years, I have been dedicated to improving the lives of young people and children in the community I grew up in. My role involves matching children with the right placements, ensuring their safety, stability, and well-being despite the challenging environment of limited placement availability nationally.I work closely with social workers, foster care providers, and residential homes to find supportive environments that promote positive outcomes. Safeguarding is central to my role, protecting children from harm and upholding their rights.
