This was a greenfield project to build out an enrollment portal for the TSA’s upcoming Precheck Service. The main areas I worked on were creating a layout used throughout the entire application, building out an administrative CRUD for maintaining a directory of enrollment locations with reactive search capabilities, developed a map, using the MapQuest API, to allow users to find nearby enrollment locations with directions, and a page for TSA Trusted Agents to review, upload, and approve an applicant’s documentation.

This project was developed to add a Business and Invoice System to an existing enterprise system. It was designed with three separate levels of access: Customers who only possess the ability to add or modify Invoices they have submitted. Employees who can a add or modify expenses for their department. And Financial Administrators who have complete access to the system. The system worked by allowing the user to browse to either an add invoice/expense page or a search invoice/expense page. From the Search page, the user could open up a specific or set of invoice/expenses in order to modify or delete them.

Worked as a web developer on four main projects: Shopping Cart, Event Onsite Processing, Collegiate Design Series, and User Profile Management. The Shopping Cart and User Profile Management projects were part of a larger Website Redesign project that involved a complete re-work of how the SAE website appeared to the user and worked. My responsibilities included the creation of a membership up sale advertisement, links to the user’s library from the shopping cart receipt page, and granting users the ability to manage all of their subscriptions in one central location. With the Event Onsite Processing project, I added payment processing to SAE’s existing onsite processes, refactoring the existing code to make it more readable and manageable, and writing PLSQL functions to manage the data. And lastly, for the Collegiate Design Series, I added the capability for students to register for a competition using up to 4 credit cards, added a countdown clock for each competition and modified the manner in which registration and payment were handled to prevent overloading the servers.
