I have a broad range of experience, from studying philosophy, to work in a corporate environment developing web applications, to both volunteer and professional efforts strengthening local communities at the grass-roots. I've worked with people and technology, and thought deeply about the conditions that influence and bring them together. My latest endeavor as co-founder of Software Garden feels like the perfect merger of these various experiences. At Software Garden, we always begin by asking important questions about the project at hand. Why are we working on this project? Why is this project important for our clients? What possibilities are we trying to realize? How can our software create real human value for the people using it, the people working on it, and others affected by it? Once we and our clients have clarity about the purpose and goals of the project, we know the way forward to building quality software.
