Led the resulting one-year project, using rapid prototyping techniques, and weekly EVM to manage cost and schedule. The team included J-UCAS program, F/A-18 program (NPD), NAVAIR engineer, SPAWAR engineers, and contractors that were working as NAVAIR subcontractors. Resulted in complete success in approaches to the USS Harry S Truman (CVN-75) in May 2007. Flew all the test flights as the test Weapons Systems Officer, and took photos during the test flight that were featured in a three page article in Aviation Week and Space Technology in June 2007.
