To ensure high quality I insisted on creating automated tests in both .Net and in Protractor, I set up the CI server to automate builds and test runs using Team City and I instigated the use of GIT as well as code reviewsDelphi ProjectI worked as part of a large team on an exciting project to unify Euromoney’s storage of content to enable semantic analysis. I created new resources for the REST API using .Net along with extensive automated Unit, Acceptance and Approval tests (using SpecFlow & Selenium)I used MarkLogic for storage in XML using XQuery as well as integrating with exiting Euromoney Authorization and Authentication systems. I used TDD for writing and testing lower level code. This required talking to their MongoDB database, writing n-tier code. The challenge was to produce a flexible, XML template driven solution that could support a rich editing experience while allowing ease of addition of future templates. I designed the front end system using an MVC2 web site and extensive use of JavaScript and jQuery to create a rich UI experience.
