Part of a team of engineers responsible for the development of a hydrologic IQQM model for use in the 10 year QLD Government, Water Resource Plan (WRP). Sam Carried out a number of model builds (development and calibration) for a numebr fo different basins incluing, the Logan/Albert; Warrego, Paroo, Bullo, and Nebine; and the Burdekin. These projects included: Hydrological modelling, using the integrated quality quantity model (IQQM), of the basin exploring future possible scenarios and water supply options; regular communication meetings between the public and stakeholders regarding the environmental, hydrological, social and economical concerns of a WRP; Co-ordination of public forums on conflict management regarding the allocation and distribution of available water throughout each basin; evaluation, creation and ongoing support of a drought management plan for stricken catchments based on community, indigenous, environmental and economic concerns.
