The Electrical Inspector Ltd was created in 2008 in response to a single request for a company able to carry out hazardous areas electrical inspections, one able to carry out Periodic Assessments.After establishing ourselves with them we were asked by others for advice. It became obvious to include the inspection of newly installed equipment which expanded into carrying out pre-delivery inspections on equipment manufactured in other countries prior to them being put into service in New Zealand.So we added the inspection of new equipment and periodic assessments of electrical equipment in Combustible Dust hazardous areas, Binary Cycle Power Generation Plants, Chemical Production Plants, Co-Generation Plants and other types of manufacturing plants. Plus, we've attracted work involving aircraft refuelling sites, petrol stations, spray-painting booths, dangerous goods stores and other similar smaller operations whose compliance certification requirements occur once every 4 years.So now we provide a full specialist electrical inspection service in areas of high-risk throughout New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands and Asia.Over time we've refined our systems making it possible for clients to maintain their equipment themselves . We've added asset integrity with registration, tracking and maintenance; the creation and maintenance of Hazardous Area (Verification) Dossiers; and the certification of electrical designs for new Projects. Our services include drawings too.Our ongoing mission is to help our clients – present and new - to create and maintain a compliance system that is easy to work with and which will meet all present and future compliance requirements. We promise that when clients are ready, our jointly developed systems and proven work methods will provide a firm basis and confidence ensuring they meet their ongoing compliance obligations and needs.
