Current● Integrated new electronics cooling pump into 25kW electric outboard motor, including: authoringtechnical requirements, bench testing, 3D modeling, hands-on prototyping, & vendor design for manufacturing.● Authored detailed system technical requirements, drafted interface control drawing, and modeled boundary envelope for procurement of hydraulic tilt trim cylinder.● Onsite engineer providing validation, prototyping, assembly drawing support, and manufacturing guidance for Hall Effect rotational position sensor design delivering improved stability of outboard trim angle measurement.● Designed and routed custom TPE overmolded trim angle sensor wire harness for Hall Effect sensor.● Conducted pressure decay leak testing of outboard system and components to validate IP67 product rating in addition to development of leak test methodology for overmolded harness. ● Owned critical hydraulic tilt trim cylinder vendor relationship with responsibilities including design changes, root cause investigations, and performance improvement initiatives. ● Investigated wire harness crushing issue, developed improved routing, and created instructional service bulletin for field team.● Provided prompt and detailed engineering support for quality, manufacturing, and service teams in instances of non-conformances and engineering service requests. ● Developed spacing tool to assist service team with proper installation of outboards onto vessels.● Created manufacturing work instructions and provided guidance for prototype and new product introduction manufacturing trials.● Utilized test bench power supply and oscilloscope to evaluate electrical performance of coolant & hydraulic motor pumps.
