Current- Integrated new electronics cooling pump into 25kW electric outboard motor, including: authoringtechnical requirements, bench testing, 3D modeling, hands-on prototyping, & vendor design for manufacturing.
- Authored detailed system technical requirements, drafted interface control drawing, and modeled boundary envelope for procurement of hydraulic tilt trim cylinder.
- Onsite engineer providing validation, prototyping, assembly drawing support, and manufacturing guidance for Hall Effect rotational position sensor design delivering improved stability of outboard trim angle measurement.
- Designed and routed custom TPE overmolded trim angle sensor wire harness for Hall Effect sensor.
- Conducted pressure decay leak testing of outboard system and components to validate IP67 product rating in addition to development of leak test methodology for overmolded harness.
- Owned critical hydraulic tilt trim cylinder vendor relationship with responsibilities including design changes, root cause investigations, and performance improvement initiatives.
