- Scrub cardiac catheterization procedures alongside interventional cardiologists. Proficiencies in complex / high-risk PCI, as well as utilization of various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices. (Rotablator, Diamondback, Laser, and Pronto Aspiration.)- Skilled in Cardiogenic shock mitigation procedures involving Impella CP, ECMO, IABP, and pulmonary embolus removal (Inari FlowTriever).- Coronary call duties include identifying and preparing appropriate equipment dependent upon situation and patient conditions. Performing quickly and effectively in a high stress environment by working with nursing staff and cardiologist. Coronary call procedures include treating STEMI, temporary pacemaker insertion, cardiogenic shock, pericardiocentesis, and emergent swan-ganz placement. - Scrub peripheral vascular procedures including, complex vascular interventions, thrombectomy, atherectomy devices (Rotarex, HawkOne, AngioJet, Shockwave, Penumbra,). Proficiency in endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, carotid angioplasty, and fistula repair. - Document and record during cardiac and vascular procedures. (Epic and MergeCardio)- Preceptor to students and new hires.
