Founded Harvey's Scarecrows aimed at increasing awareness of Neuroblastoma; an aggressive childhood cancer. Phase 1 of the project was established to raise the profile of Harvey Hext a child battling Neuroblastoma who had a fundraising target of £350,000 for life saving treatment. Following Harvey's tragic death in 2015 phase 2 has seen the project focus on assisting to create a legacy for Harvey's fundraising efforts and establishing "A Sibling's Wish" aimed at supporting bereaved children.On a local level Harvey's Scarecrows organise an annual mass participation event - Harvey's Scarecrow Trail; encouraging residents, schools and businesses to build scarecrows and create a trail across the Chew Valley for the month of October. Each scarecrow builder pays a registration fee which goes direct to A Sibling's Wish Charity. Members of the public purchase trail maps in aid of the charity. To date the event has raised £40,000.Responsible for all aspects of the project from initial planning and development of the concept to sourcing sponsors, securing businesses and residents involvement, PR, marketing and fundraising.

Develop and implement the annual continuing professional development (CPD) veterinary programme for Langford Vets. Manage adhoc events and represent the company at various trade events.I plan and organise the annual CPD calendar; liaising with clinicians to schedule relevant and varied courses that will appeal to our market audience. I co-ordinate the advertising of course details, online registration of delegates, manage all logistics for each course, speaker briefings, budget management and post event evaluation and analysis. I also manage the planning and logistics for large scale events Langford Vets are involved in as part of their marketing and PR activities such as North Somerset Show.My duties range from fostering relations with external suppliers to overseeing "on the day" event activities, managing customers expectations and delivering a professional and friendly image of Langford Vets.
