My primary responsibility at TA Instruments is to provide commercial support to the Thermal Analysis product line, which is leveraged by previous experience supporting Microcalorimetry. During my PhD work I showed ability of DNA oxidation to activate gene expression, and I interrogated the key role that DNA repair proteins play in this process. I was featured as the leading author for a manuscript that was published in Chemical Research in Toxicology, and I was also a contributing author for a textbook chapter on the topic of DNA Damage, DNA Repair, and Disease.

I studied the consequences of a class of small organic molecules known as bifunctional alkylating agents and determined that their cross-linking abilities induced cell death via apoptosis. My collaborative efforts were shown when I had the opportunity to be published as a supporting author for a manuscript published in Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology.
