Working alongside the VFL doctor and S&C coach, I have successfully managed a large squad of VFL players and their injuries. On game day my role is also to assess and manage acute injuries to our AFL players who have played in the VFL that weekend.In this role I create and deliver detailed injury rehab plans and provide treatment for a wide range of injury types. I also provide weekly, detailed injury reports and communicate regularly with the head coach and S&C coach in order to collectively make the right return to sport decisions.In addition, my role involves regular attendance at AFL training sessions in order to assess new injuries, complete strength monitoring and provide treatment and taping for our players.
