As an Assistant Director, I've developed new policies for government that support children and families to utilise the benefits of early childhood education and care.Previously I have worked to support First Nations Early Childhood Care and Development across all governments, working in partnership with First Nations representatives and community members.I've also worked to support child care viability in emergency situations, designing and developing packages that supported child cares during COVID-19 outbreaks and floods.

While working as a senior policy officer, I worked to support ministers and senior officials at intergovernmental forums as well as develop policy to support children and families.I've worked on various Australian Government supported formative and summative assessment programs, and developed policy to support First Nations led child care services.

When I first started at the Department, I worked on the Australian Qualifications Framework review and supported intergovernmental briefing for Australian Government assessment programs.

My research focussed on improving the efficiency of Catalytic Chain Transfer Polymerisations. Alongside developing new catalysts, I used multivariate analysis alongside spectroscopic techniques to develop monitoring techniques and optimised post-polymerisation reactions.

I have tutored practical course work for the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at first, second and third year levels. Primarily I focused on Physical Chemistry, and Experimental Chemistry.
