Responsible for the delivery of refurbishment and construction projects across the three Perse sites, as well as undertaking responsive estate management activities.

Responsible for the delivery of Cross Key's planned maintenance programme with an annual budget of circa £13million including cyclical works and projects. With a stock of over 10,000 properties in the Peterborough area, planned works are delivered through a partnering contract with Mears. I manage a team of six surveyors and we are tasked with delivering the planned works on a daily basis and administering the contract, writing specifications, tendering, surveys, technical problem solving, and managing tenant matters, amongst other duties. I am responsible for works quality, budgeting, performance reporting, and ensuring we meet our landlord and H&S obligations.

Project surveyor employed on temporary basis, main duties involved inspecting completed works to check quality and progress against programme. Meeting contractor and working through snags and defects, and reporting back to management on findings.

Temporary role as building surveyor for the Peterborough office of Smiths Gore, main duty was undertake condition surveys and reports that related to Environment Agency flood defence works near Ipswich docks. Position was only a for a few weeks.

Commercial surveying position covering the country, I was working for a variety of clients facilitating the management of their property portfolios. Duties included schedules of dilapidations, condition surveys and reports, measured surveys and CAD plans, full project management of refurbishment schemes, feasibility studies etc.

Completed building surveying duties for the property department of the Cambridge office, working predominantly with schools in the region - assisting them in managing their improvements and repairs. Involved technical advice, surveys, project management, contract admin and designing refurbishments.

Traditional building surveying and project management position, working entirely with schools in the North London area. Involved full project management of a variety of schools refurbishment projects, from surveying and design, to tendering and contract administration, works supervision and handover/snagging. Full consultancy service also involved condition surveys and maintenance plans, meeting school representatives and assisting them with budgeting for maintenance and advising on necessary works.

Self employed, much of my work was sub-contract to Anglia Building Surveying, which I undertook whilst training as a surveyor. Predominantly residential surveying, design, involved measured surveys, obtaining planning and building regulations approvals, architectural services on residential extensions and refurbishment projects, assisting senior surveyors with party wall matters. One of my main duties was site visits to meet loss-adjustors on insurance repair cases. I was using CAD and also completing drawings by hand.
