Mr. Robertson has nine years of transmission line design experience. He has experience in various aspects of transmission line design including routing and siting, structure and foundation design, permitting, environmental impacts, preliminary electrical studies, hardware procurement, vendor drawing approval, and deliverable generation for new lines ranging from 69kV to 500kV. He also has experience conducting construction support and owner’s engineer roles up to 500kV, as well as experience with fiber upgrades, preliminary cost estimates, material procurement, and EMF and induction study analysis.Mr. Robertson leads high-performing teams as the lead engineer, providing quality work that meets aggressive project schedules and ensures client satisfaction. He frequently leads client calls and video conferences, maintaining action item lists to keep the client informed and up to date on project performance. Sam also attends construction page turns and field walkdowns with the client, and he presents lessons learned and communicates competently with clients.
