For design build projects, assembled SOQ supporting documentations for the preparation of thorough prequalification documents. Provides review of proposed designs for constructability and productivity during construction. Research innovative ways to complete the construction in a manner that maintains Blythe as an industry leader for innovation.For the Bid Build projects, assemble and update the primavera schedules for the baseline and construction updates. Interpret and provide the shop drawings and details to the field operations for full support of the construction operations. Assemble the necessary vendor and subcontractor material submittals to supply to the owner. Generate the engineering drawings for shoring, trenching, blasting, and water line construction means and methods.Multiple projects required that BDC manpower to work inside local quarries. In conjunction with MSHA representatives, I assembled training program documentation, provided the required company specific training and onsite technical support to the MSAH covered operations. As operations progress, I provided the required coordination with quarry personnel to plan for impacts as a result of blasting and haul road construction.

Provided support and direction to Bid-Build and Design-Build Projects. Scheduling, owner billings, subcontract account management, owner communications for change orders and qty invoicing. Coordinated design efforts with lead design pm for NCDOT design build project. Performed utility investigations, ROW locating, and traffic control staging analysis to design the project for highest productivuty during construction.

Provided project management support as needed to the City of Charlotte Aviation Development division. Performed plan reviews, contract paperwork, change orders, and generic contract correspondence for the NEAT Grading and Drainage Package, and the Old Dowd Road relocation project. Assisted with utility relocation and Railroad ROW contracts and entry coordination. E-builder system was central document system for the projects so I obtained training on its functions and usage.

Enjoying a position working on a very large project constructing multiple bridges. Everyday I get to look forward to heading to the office and taking another step forward in completing a transportation project vital to the traveling public on I-85 in and out of northern Charlotte. I am surrounded by co-workers who are as passionate about what they do for Blythe and the project owner. Together we make a pretty kick-ass team that will see this project to a successful conclusion.

Scheduling and coordination of employees, utilities and subcontractors for Heavy Highway and Bridge Projects

Responsible for managing all site work, electrical controls and equipment, instrumentation and underground piping installation for a large metropolitan city water supply. Facility is receiving a $8 million upgrade to install an uphill gravity fed water supply to a new treatment facility. This project is the first of its kind in this country. This project will prove that water will flow uphill when given the proper path.
