Professional Bass Player & teacher residing in the UK. Sam works all around the country playing & recording a wide variety of genres from pop to jazz. As well as playing to a professional level on the Electric and Double Bass, Sam also sings backing vocals and plays Acoustic Guitar & Cajon, and runs his own home studio.Sam also teaches Bass & guitar at some of the South's top schools as well as running various ensembles. Performed at: Hammersmith Apollo, Edinburgh Castle, Rochester Castle, The Roundhouse, Kent Cricket Ground, The Ritz London, Royal Festival Hall, Natural History Museum, The Gherkin, The Shard, The Dorchester Hotel, Sadlers Wells Theatres, The Langham, Dorking Halls.Worked with: BBC Radio 2 & BBC TV, Universal, countless small labels, producers & studios.Festivals: Country to Country 2016, Sail Around the Sun 2016, CarFest North & South 2015, Great Escape 2015 & 2016, Sonisphere 2010, Glastonbudget 2010, Boogie Brain Festival 2009 in Poland, dozens of smaller local festivals.Sam has extensive experience both live & in the recording studio working with countless projects over the years. in 2015 he began working with UK Singer Songwriter Emma Stevens, recording the bass for her album "Waves", which was subsequently played numerous times on Radio 2 by the late Terry Wogan. Since then, Sam went on to record the bass & was executive producer for her latest album, "To my roots". Sam has toured with Emma Stevens, as well as with US artist Jenn Bostic, UK artists Gem Cooke, Will Varley & even Drum and Bass act Chase and Status.
