I'm almost painfully extroverted.Every job I've ever had has centered around interacting with, and talking to people, and I love it. From bringing the citizens of Bellingham as much music, news, and fun as I could pack in three hours in the early morning, to spending late nights ensuring the patrons of Kiwami Sushi Bar have an enjoyable evening, its all about the people.My love for speech and passion for people even took me across the globe to Japan to teach English, an experience I hesitate to call "teaching" because I believe I learned just as much, if not more than I taught. But no matter where on the globe I am, dealing with people brings me a true joy; working in a restaurant has taught me that even the most disgruntled co-worker or customer can be assuaged, it just takes a little bit of empathy and communication, and I'm a firm believer in both.My cumulative years in the studio, classroom, and behind the bar have made me adept in dealing with unexpected, high stress situations, while teaching me to keep my cool. I love bringing my copious amounts of enthusiasm into work with me, and at KUGS-FM channeled that into a new Wednesday morning show titled "Reggaelution" which was very well-received by listeners, including a very kind letter that one listener took the time to mail to the station manager, an occurrence so rare that my manager initially thought I'd done something wrong. I'm always happy to talk to co-workers, whom I'd rather think of as friends, especially about sports, music, or history!
