I have been a police officer since 2020 in the role of a response officer with Durham Constabulary. My roles involve attending incidents reported to the control room, arresting suspects, gathering evidence, investigating crime and managing my own personal workload, problem solving, engaging with the public, interviewing victims/witnesses/suspects, safeguarding vulnerable people and much much more.My skills include: Taser authorised officer, initial contact officer (sexual offences), response driver, CAMIC trained and trained Tutor Constable.My experience has taught me to be comfortable with challenging conversations and my written communication is of a high standard. I take responsibility in difficult decisions and I am able to organise teams that achieve objectives. I am able to manage stakeholders effectively, use evidence when making decisions, analyse data to establish facts, I am resilient under pressure and I am able to effectively resolve conflict. I am capable of working to strict deadlines, I am a good team player, I am also able to work well independently and I demonstrate strong leadership skills.
