I teach a senior and graduate level mechanical engineering course at CU Boulder title The Design of Coffee. I teach advanced engineering principles such as heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics through the lens of growing, roasting and brewing coffee.

I have worked at this professional guide outfit for the past two summers as a lead fly fishing guide.I would guide fly fishing trips in Rocky Mountain National Park for anglers of various experience levels and perform the following duties:• Equip clients with appropriate gear before going on trips • Teach clients the basics of casting, entomology, and more • Work in a team-based setting with other guides to keep operations running smoothly • Assist working in the fly shop by answering calls, booking trips, and selling retail gear • Practice environmental stewardship while guiding with clients in the park
