Sam S. is a professional in their field. In his roll Sam was responsible for the Oracle infrastructure for the client global Oracle financials and North America HR and Payroll systems. Sam was responsible for working with both client management and DXC company support resources globally. Sam built an excellent report with the client Global IT director and the managers below him. In his roll Sam worked with and coordinated resources for network, database and system admin ensuring customer service level agreements were met with the customer and ensuring that the applications were kept at a supported vendor level and that all security was maintained at current level and reviewed for any security issues. The team Sam coordinated was comprised of resources globally which allowed him to experience the challenges from multiple cultures and languages. This brought with it advantages of providing support 24 x 7 with people working their normal day shift but also the cultural differences. Sam was able to ensure that he got all the groups to work together. Sam also over saw the warm disaster recovery site instances and a test once a year to confirm that the BCP disaster recover met customer SLA requirements and that the instances could be used in the event of an actual disaster at the primary data center.
